A Splendid Sunshine Award
Thank you to the lovely Margo Kelly who bestowed the splendid Sunshine Award to my blog recently, I'm feeling quite chuffed and honoured. I am very thankful to all my blogging buddies who I've met online since setting up my blog in April this year. And, indeed my twittering lovelies. If you are on twitter, do let me know, -I love the quick easy banter there - as well as it being a great resource for writers and publishing.
I'm passing this super award onto this wonderful souls!

A/N:
Happy Thanksgiving to my American blogging buddies where ever you live in this global village, personally,-I do miss the turkey and pumpkin dinners with my old friends in Tokyo.
This week, I've continued with my revisions, much harder than I'd initially envisaged, but I am determined to finish this story! In between hot chocolates and chanting for snow, finding my little one's Xmas play costume, attending kiddies party and phew! ...walking the dog, -I'm hoping to get on with the editing over this weekend. How about you? What's on your calendar this weekend?

I'm driving up to Manchester - I've just researched the emergency kit necessary for snowy problems and am packing a car-full of prevention. If I hadn't collected it up we would be about to find ourselves marooned in a chilling sea of white. Now I've prevented that. (Hope this argument works with my other half - he normally laughs... but that is only because we have always been too well protected to make the Fates interested in us ;) )
We are having our own thanxgiving on Monday, so I have to start planning the menu sometime soon
I had a nice Thanksgiving dinner yesterday with my family and our adopted housemate, The Baked Chef, who made a glorious stuffing from scratch and a masterpiece of turkey reduction gravy with cream and butter.
Today, I am staying cozy inside the house with fuzzy slippers on, hiding from the Black Friday shopping madness.
A lovely bit of sunshine to warm these cold November days! Lets hope we get some snow to make the sunshine even more dazzling eh? :D
Have a fabulous weekend!

Elizabeth, you're welcome!! ;)
Golden Eagle, thank you. I am working through them and making changes, its amazing how much I've got to learn with the second draft.

I hope you enjoy your Week!
I'll be checking out those folks you mentioned...
Congratulations on your award and thank you for your generosity in passing it on to me. It adds such a splash of color in my white world of snow that will be around for the next 4 months. I was sorely in need of some color in my life.
I'm excited about your book. The revisions may be tedious but the rewards will be monumental.
I'll check out the book on your post. I wallow in books of anticipation.
I apologize for being so slow to respond. I've in the throes of a big cleanse and it's taking up all my days. It's given me huge gobs of energy. Twas time to tweak the ole bode!!!!
